off lead dog walking places in tunbridge wells

That also make great photography spots ;)

Hargate forest

If you're looking for somewhere fairly local, you can visit this forest located on Broadwater down with an easy roadside parking. There is two main entrances, with the bottom one being a bit quieter. There is a few routes to chose from, the average loop takes about 45 minutes, I recommend dropping a pin at your starting point, but the forest isn't huge. Hargate forest is just lovely, my favourite walking spot for summer evenings, winter is lovely too, but it can get muddy, especially at the top. There is plenty for your dog to explore in the woodlands. If your dog loves to run off and wander on their own, I probably wouldn't recommend this location due to Bunny lane being on the outside of the forest, but if they like to stick by you and just have a run around then this is the perfect place. Please be aware if you see an on lead dog, it could mean they are nervous or reactive.

Friezland Woods/Ramslye fields (towards High rocks)

Tthis place is perfect for running, open fields and small woodland with stream running through it. You can see far ahead and walk around all the fields, or just pick one or two and let your dog to burn off their energy. Driving towards High Rocks, you'll see a lay by on your left, walk under the train bridge and follow the path up a small hill. This walk is also great for pups that are safer on lead for whatever reason, as you can see far ahead and easily avoid walking by people or other dogs.

Pembury woods

Various laybys on Romford Road, also accessible from the village. Perfect for warmer days and shaded walk. With many routes to choose from, it is easy to forget where you are, so do drop a pin on arrival. This walk is just so beautiful and your pup is going to LOVE it. Plenty of woodland space with some grassy areas and stream at the bottom.
